Use caution when getting into a taxi in a foreign country. You have to be certain that the taxi is real. It is not hard to put up a taxi sign on a car; if you get into the wrong vehicle, you don’t know where you will end up.

Pack dryer sheets into your luggage. If you have ever flown before, you might have noticed that sometimes your luggage can come back smelling just a little odd. To eliminate this problem and keep your clothes and possessions smelling fresh, use dryer sheets. Pack them in between layers of clothing.

There are exceptions of course but even with those just a little bit of thought while packing can greatly reduce your load and make your trip much more enjoyable.

Learning a bit of the lingo will enhance the traveler’s experience or even prove helpful in case of unexpected difficulties.

If you’re going on a cruise, pack a snorkle with you. Then when you stop at one of the locations, hit the beach and do a bit of snorkling. You’ll be amazed at what you can see while snorking, especially if your cruise is in the Caribbean. And buying a snorkle is a lot cheaper than paying for a snorkle tour!
